The Casino Regulatory Authority of Singapore (CRA) has imposed financial penalties totalling $255,000 on Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. (MBS), and financial penalties totalling $130,000 on Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. (RWS), for breaching the Casino Control Act and its Regulations during the period 28 October 2010 to 30 April 2011 and 15 August 2010 to 30 April 2011 respectively. RWS was also separately censured for 5 cases of similar breaches.

Welcome to the second biennial Singapore Symposium on Casino Regulation and Crime. The organisation of this second joint symposium is testimony to the close working relationship between the SPF and CRA. Together, and in particular the Casino Crime Investigation Branch of the Criminal Investigation Department, as well as CRA, have worked closely in the prevention and detection of casino-related crimes for the past two years.

CASINO REGULATORY AUTHORITY OF SINGAPORE TAKES DISCIPLINARY ACTION AGAINST RESORTS WORLD AT SENTOSA PTE. LTD.

The Casino Regulatory Authority of Singapore (CRA) has issued a letter of censure to Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. (RWS) for implementing changes, between 29 March 2010 and 29 April 2010, to its casino surveillance system deviating from RWS’ approved surveillance plan without first obtaining CRA’s approval.

CASINO REGULATORY AUTHORITY OF SINGAPORE ISSUES CASINO LICENCE to Marina Bay SAnds Pte. Ltd.

The Casino Regulatory Authority of Singapore has issued a casino licence to Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. on 26 Apr 2010. The casino operator must ensure that it remains suitable to manage and operate a casino in accordance with Section 45 of the Casino Control Act.

PATRON DISPUTE REPORT FORM

If you are a casino patron with an unresolved dispute in relation to alleged winnings, alleged losses or the manner in which a game is conducted, you may request for the CRA Inspector to investigate into the dispute. The request shall be made using the Patron Dispute Report form which is now available on the website.
